| FORD DECODE BY SERIAL NUMBER V / M / A / C / L MODELS Almost all Car Stereo's from Ford cars can be decoded using this method. All we need is the serial number of the the stereo. HOW TO GET SERIAL NUMBER The serial number is located on the Side or top of the stereo, Most serial numbers are prefixed with a letter then usually six numbers. Newer Ford stereos are prefixed with the letter 'V'. We can supply codes for serial numbers prefixed by the following letters. Vxxxxxx Mxxxxxx Axxxxxx Cxxxxxx Lxxxxxx The majority of serial numbers will be the M or V type. Please click here if you need more help.
